A kit plane was instructed to hold by a runway to let a DC-8
on two-mile final land. As the DC-8 landed, some quick witted DC-8 pilot got on
the radio and transmitted, “ aw isn’t that a cute little plane, did you make it
your self?”, well the Kit pilot took no offence and replied, “ Yes, I made it
out of DC-8 parts and another landing like yours and I’ll have enough parts to
make another one”.
